Tips for the Brighton to Gatwick Airport run
- On weekday mornings between about 7 and 9am, allow extra time for the A23 at Patcham, where traffic from the A27 joins the road out of Brighton.
- The M23 between Pease Pottage (junction 11) and the Gatwick spur (junction 9) is where delays usually build. When it is slow, your driver can take the A23 through Crawley instead.
- Check your terminal on your booking confirmation the day before you fly — airlines do move between North and South.
